Like many modern parents, the birth of my son propelled me to pick up the camera and start shooting like a madwoman.  It wasn’t long before my interest extended beyond family memories and into the playful visuals one encounters when living in the world among children as well as the allure of street photography.

In 2014, I was asked to come up with text to frame an exhibit of Columbus, Ohio street photography called 25 on High. During the process of writing poetry about the city’s ever-changing main drag, I documented many spaces with photographs, three of which were included in the exhibition.
